BRIDGE REPLACEMENT

THANK YOU TO ALL VOLUNTEERS

A group of volunteers worked together to successfully plan and build a new bridge in the common area near the maintenance shed.  Norm and Annette Nolette sourced and picked up the materials at North Enderby Timber, pre-cut and pre-stained all the wood in preparation for the re-build.  Norm also created the design and the drawings!  If you haven't yet seen the finished product, you are in for a treat!
When it came time to assemble and install, an impressive amount of volunteers contributed their time, muscle and skill to complete the project: Norm and Annette Nolette (SL13), Al and Nadia Lozada (SL27), Richard and Shirley Picard (SL30), Paul Goodgrove (SL41), Dan (& volunteer corral-er) and Sue Guenette (SL42), Lesley O'Driscoll (SL43), and Doug and Lisa Wakaruk (guests at SL42).

SAFETY ALERT!

BEARS ARE IN THE COMMUNITY

There have been numerous recent sightings of bears in the community.
As a safety precaution, Council has created and issued a flyer with all the information including steps to avoid bears in the community, as well as how to deal with a bear encounter. This has been personally distributed to the cottage or RV of all Owners. It can also be viewed at the following link: https://www.wildrosebay.bc.ca/images/pdf_docs/Strata_Documents/Strata_General_Information/Bear_Warning_Flyer_v2.pdf

Another source of information is now on our website at: https://www.wildrosebay.bc.ca/images/pdf_docs/Strata_Documents/Strata_General_Information/Bears_and_Residents_Alberta_Bear_Smart_brochure.pdf

A chief concern are attractants in our community. Please read the information for the safety of you, your guests, and your neighbours.

News on the street

GENERAL REMINDERS TO OWNERS AND GUESTS

A reminder to all pet owners to pick up after your pets (refer to bylaw 32 (2)).
In addition to this being a bylaw and requirement, clean common areas create a much more pleasurable experience for all owners and guests, and we ask that all pet owners be more diligent in immediately picking up after their dogs.
